Hi,
I'm Crash! About four years ago, when I was just a young pup, I thought it might be a good idea to 'run with the big dogs'. Well, all that got me was left on the roadside after being hit by a truck. Thankfully a nice lady took the time to look at the broken pup on the roadside and realized, I was alive! She scooped me up and rushed me to the vet where they found I had two broken legs, a broken pelvis and a broken nose. I was a mess! That's when PAAW stepped in and I met my foster mom, gosh how I love my foster mom. What no one realized was that I hadn't had a good life before I ran away, so I was scared of everything. My foster family has worked me through several of my fears. Along with providing the intensive care I needed while I was healing. That was a rough eight weeks!!! I have been with my foster mom all of my adult life, and I know that she loves me, but she always tells me that I need a family of my own. You see, as long as I stay with her, I take up a space for another pup just like me, that NEEDS her. I know I will be scared when I leave her. Big man voices still scare me, and little ones....well, their high pitched voices and fast movements...aren't all dogs scared of them??? I will have to be brave. I am a good boy. I am quite a comedian and love to romp in the yard. I just need you to understand that I like to take things slow. If you have patience with me, I promise to be a good dog. CRASH is ready to go to his new home!!! He is fully healed and doesn't remember that he ever was injured. He jumps, runs and acts like a maniac whenever he has the chance. He has also taken to napping in a lap. Is yours available??

GREAT NEWS!!!! About two weeks ago we pulled both pins...and CRASH is doing great. He is now able to play with the other pups in his foster home. He has pretty much free run of the house and is enjoying every minute. He is always watching the other dogs and mimicking them as if asking, 'is this right???'. He is an absolute joy of a puppy and was a wonderful patient through and through. He seems to have totally forgotten the strife of his past and is relishing the idea of being a pampered pup. If you have it in your heart to rescue this boy and overlook his funny walk, please email us. CRASH will be getting his final checkup at the vet tomorrow, and I am sure doc will say for us to 'cut him loose'. In other words, He is ready to go!!!

Great news!! Crash is doing beautifully. He did have a bit of a set back with some infection, but we have it under control. He is in good spirits and is a funny guy. He can't wait to be able to play with the other dogs in his foster home. Any time they play near his pen he barks and wags at them.
PAAW wants to thank everyone who donated to his cause. Without your help these guys like Crash would go without.
Keep your fingers crossed that xrays look good on Friday! I will give another update soon.

Crash has undergone surgery and is doing very well. He has pins in both front and back legs. If we can keep him quiet for at least a month, he should be able to heal up just fine.
